Key Hanger Kit

KEY HANGER KIT by Karen

This kit comes with full instructions but here I am showing you how "I did it my way" hehe!
I used:
PaperArtsy Fresco Paint
Eco Green acrylics
Brilliance inks
Clear Embossing powder
A Crackle Stamp
Crackle Accents
Teensy buttons
Rough string
2xMini Birds
For the backboard:  I painted with the Fresco paints then stamped using a crackle stamp & brilliance ink in white.  I didn't cover the whole stamp in ink as I wanted it to look patchy.  Then I used a large corner flourish stamp and clear embossed it on the top corners.

For the houses:  Before I glued the bases together I painted with Fresco paints & stamped the crackle stamp as before but using complimentary Brilliance ink colours.  The rooves were run through my Big Shot with a script embossing folder then painted with Eco Green Tide Pool acrylic.  I then ran perfect medium over them & embossed with clear powder.  The doors & windows were painted to match the backboard and then had Crackle Accents added, with teensy buttons on the doors.

The birds were used instead of the large scrolls in the pack and were painted to match the houses then crackle accents applied.

To hang I twisted the string into a braid and knotted through the holes.

  2. Oh, you used a crackle stamp not crackle paint. Cool. But I do think you are being a bit unfair showing all these gorgeous projects so close together. I want to have a go at a few of these. Don't know where to start or if I will have time. Must focus. Another lovely project. Thanks.
